2019 National Juried Exhibition

The Batesville Area Arts Council Gallery on Main hosted the 2019 BAAC National Juried Exhibition, April 23 - June 8, 2019. The exhibition consisted of 24 pieces from 13 artists across the United States. Thank you to our award sponsors, Citizens Bank, First Community Bank, and Merchants & Planters Bank. 

The juror for BAAC’s 7th Annual National Juried Exhibition, Adrienne Callander, is a professor of Art and Arts Entrepreneurship at the University of Arkansas, and is cross-appointed in the School of Art and the College of Business. Callander’s research focus is on visual art and entrepreneurship. She teaches entrepreneurship along aesthetic, social, and commercial trajectories, facilitates creative collaboration, and partners with on- and off-campus entities to grow opportunities and engagement through entrepreneurship and the arts. In addition to teaching, she curates, writes, and exhibits.
