
Join us for Artoberfest 2025, an arts and music festival on Main Street, Saturday, October 11, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. The festival will feature artist booths, live music, art demonstrations, and other family fun activities. This one-day event is FREE for the community to enjoy thanks to our generous sponsors!
This year’s festival is presented by Citizens Bank and sponsored by Bad Boy Mowers, Lyon College, Bank of Cave City, First Community Bank, Fuller Bumpers Attorney at Law, and FARCO.
Calling All Artists and Makers!
We are looking for local and regional artists to help bring Artoberfest to life! This arts and music festival on Main Street is a perfect opportunity to showcase and sell your handmade or hand-decorated work. Booth spaces are 10' x 10' and available to rent for $30, with the option to rent tables and chairs.

Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest
Artoberfest's sidewalk chalk art contest is FREE, family-friendly fun for kids of all ages!
K-6th grade: 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.
Junior High - College: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Some sidewalk chalk will be provided, but please plan to bring your own if you've got a larger group or have specific colors you'd like to use.
ALL ATTENDEES MUST BE REGISTERED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST. This ensures that we have enough squares marked off for everyone.

- The winner can pick up their prize between 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. during Artoberfest on Saturday, October 11.
- A selection of entries will be displayed at the Independence County Library during Artoberfest!
