Faces and Places

 

The Batesville Area Arts Council presented Faces and Places: artwork by Donna Twyford October 30 - December 1, 2018.

 

Donna Twyford is an artist living in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She started painting with watercolor in 2013 and fell in love with the medium. This exhibition features 22 paintings of places that she has traveled to all over the world, and the people who live there. She is inspired by the architecture and landscapes of the world, but is fascinated by the people. Twyford explains, “Trying to capture feeling and emotion and transfer it to a painting is a great challenge. Recording memories of our travel through art is a joy!”
