The Batesville Area Arts Council is pleased to present HOLI, an exhibition by Brice Stephens, at the BAAC Gallery on Main (226 E Main St) from March 11 - April 25, 2025. The reception is free and open to the public. This exhibition is sponsored by Polk & Paddle.

Biography

Brice Stephens was born in Desha, AR, and has been painting on glass windows for 25 years. He is also a former student of Aline McCracken. His art has been mostly shown in Orlando, Florida with much success. Stephens' medium is primarily old windows with ink and acrylic paint. He paints directly on the glass in reverse starting with the forefront of the image instead of the background as most artists do when painting on canvas. His intentions are to have fun by always experimenting with techniques and always evolving. His biggest art influences are Mark Gonzales, Alphonse Mucha, Egon Schiele, and David Choe.
