2020 National Juried Exhibition

The Batesville Area Arts Council Gallery on Main hosted the 2020 BAAC National Juried Exhibition, April 21 - August 1, 2020. The exhibition included 21 pieces from 19 artists across the United States. Thank you to our award sponsors Citizens Bank, and First Community Bank. 

The juror for BAAC’s 8th Annual National Juried Exhibition, Eric Freeman, is an American-born painter, poet, musician, and photographer. The Huffington Post wrote of his Dream Animal paintings: “Freeman’s birds and beasts roam free in bright colors that only appear in electrified dreams,” where “realism takes a backseat to the color spectrum…” Freeman’s work has been shown in New York, Miami, Santa Fe, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Taipei, Taiwan--as well as throughout his home state of Arkansas.
