Delta Road

 

The Batesville Area Arts Council hosted Delta Road: Artwork by Claire Coppola  from June 14 - July 30, 2016. 

 

The artworks in this exhibition were retired signs, re-purposed as driveway and house markers. Claire Coppola (Jonesboro, AR) uses vinyl, paint, and reflectors to transform these former street signs into works of art. Coppola also takes photographs of these signs “in situ” overtop of existing street signs. These photographs then become the end product, rather than the sign itself.
